RONALD EUGENE “GEPPY” GEPHART, age 72, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Middletown, Ohio, on May 31, 1952, the son of LeRoy and Eunice (Fritz) Gephart.
Geppy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. After returning from the service, he spent his career at Myers Construction, where he poured concrete. In his free time, Geppy enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, hunting mushrooms, listening to classic rock, all things Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his family.
Geppy leaves behind his two children, Bryan (Jacki) Gephart and Holly (Jesse) Graves; grandchildren, Zayne, Dylan, Sarah and Anna; sisters, Sandy Tobias, Brenda Gisewite and Diana Gephart, along with his significant other, Debbie Ketchem.
Geppy was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12-1 p.m. in the ARPP-ROOT & CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 29 N. Main St., Germantown. A celebration of Ron’s life will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens.
