Published by Legacy on Apr. 22, 2025.
Ronald E. Gerren, Jr., 59, of Youngstown passed away peacefully Friday morning April 4, 2025, after a long courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. He was born October 27, 1965, in Salem, a son of the late Ronald Gerren Sr. and Lois Baker Gerren. He was a foreman ay West and Barker for 30 faithful years. Ron was an active member of U.I.T.C. motorcycle club that sponsored rides to raise funds for charity. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and watched them on TV whenever possible.
Ron was a true embodiment of strength, kindness and unwavering support. He was the guy who you called for a helping hand. He loved taking weekend trip adventures with the family. He touched many lives with his humor, generosity, and love.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his life partner Susan Visci and daughter Madison Gerren, stepsons Chris and Ronnie Visci and stepmother Shirley Gerren of Texas, and nieces and nephews. Ron is preceded in death by his sister Crystal Richards.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday April 27, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
