Ronald Giuli

Ronald James Giuli, found peace on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on June 17, 1940, Ronald was a loving husband to Margaret, his devoted partner of 60 years. Together, they built a family that included their children, Chris (Michele) Giuli and Eve (James) Smith, and were blessed with grandchildren Skylar (Kayla), Ambriele (Zack), Jaden, Cody (Megan), and Kelsy. His role as a great-grandfather to Scout, Sawyer, and Miller, who was adoringly referred to as his "GG Pa," was a source of immense joy. He is also survived by his brother, James Giuli. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Marion, and his sister, Janice Ryan. Throughout his career with the State of Wisconsin, Ronald was instrumental in the development of road and bridge projects that will serve communities for generations to come. His professional achievements were matched by his involvement in industry associations, where he shared his expertise and mentored young engineers. Ronald's childhood was spent embarking on adventures with his friends in Greendale, where he developed a love for the outdoors. His hobbies were as diverse as his character; he was an outdoorsman who enjoyed trapping, swimming at the local quarry, and walking the trails of the Wehr Nature Center. 

His love for adventure extended to his passion for Corvair cars and the exhilaration of snowmobiling through Wisconsin's wintry landscapes. Ronald's intellect shone through in his daily ritual of solving crossword puzzles, a testament to his sharp wit and love for a good challenge. Those who knew Ronald appreciated his great sense of humor. He was known to be a bit of a prankster, always ready with a joke or a clever trick to bring laughter to any occasion. His stubborn streak was a hallmark of his strong character, and it served him well in both his personal and professional life. Ronald enjoyed the simple things in life and taught his family the value of hard work and perseverance. 

As we bid farewell to Ronald James Giuli, we celebrate a life well-lived—his memory will continue to be a guiding force for his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ronald's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but his story will be told for generations to come. Private services for Ronald will be held.
