A Celebration of life will be held Saturday November 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Burlington, CO.
Ronald Lee Gramm went to be with the Lord on November 11,2024 at the age of 73. He was born on August 2,1951 to Loyd & Fern (Knodel) Gramm. Coming after big brother George & before little sister Judy. Ron grew up on the farm North of Bethune. The family went to the Hope Congregational church & he was confirmed in 1960. He had a personal relationship with the Lord that was shown to anyone that knew him. From an early age he learned to have a great work ethic of raising livestock & farming. He graduated Bethune high school in 1969 & went on to northeastern junior college in Sterling for 2 yrs & graduated with a degree in production agriculture. He grew particularly fond of the Simmental cattle & won a few awards.
Later on, he met the love of his life Diane Statler. They were married May 15,1985 with a little prompting from his future sister-in-law who gave him some wool socks for Christmas & told him to get over his cold feet & just marry her sister! Ron & Diane made their home on the Gramm family farm. They worked side by side raising cattle & farming for most of their marriage.
Ron liked to fish & later liked to fish from a kayak. They had many adventures taking their kayaks to different locations fishing.
Ron always enjoyed having time to sit & talk with friends & family. Going to the sale barn or to the Post restaurant. He always had time to visit.
Ron had an ornery side to him. He was April fools' master! He had a stuffed rat that he enjoyed pranking people with. He gave it as a Christmas gift, scared people with it & many other jokes. Everyone who knew about the rat were always aware they might receive it back eventually.
Ron is proceeded in death by his parents Loyd & Fern and most recently his brother George. He is survived and missed by his wife Diane, sister Judy (Bill) Langendorfer of Weatherford, Texas. Nieces Hannah Langendorfer, Randi (Dan) Dzuida and Kadi (David) Guthmiller, Nephews Lucas Langendorfer, Jordan (Emma) Fortmeyer, Jason (Charlene) Fortmeyer and a host of great nieces & nephews as well many other relatives and friends.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Bound Christian School or dropped off at Equitable Savings and Loans association in Burlington, CO in Ron's memory to be used to the Kingdom Bound Christian School.

November 23, 2024

Our sincere condolences for the loss of Ronnie. As a horde of cousins growing up together we had so much fun. From riding horses, playing in the hay loft on the rope swing, eating mulberries and getting very sick on the merry go round. Us younger cousins always felt safe when you were around. Sad to say the years and distance didn´t allow much contact as adults, but memories are strong. This has been a year of loss but time allows us to cope with these losses. Take care of each other through love and hugs. Celebrate his life and remember all. Jim and Dalene Enyart
