When we were in high school, I really didn´t know Ron. He was in my older sister Bonnie´s class. But when I was a freshman at Purdue, we became travel buddies, and he was SO very nice to me. He had a car, and we thus spent hours and hours together, making multiple trips back-and forth to Lafayette. Our parents were also good friends , and played bridge together frequently.
Because of this, I always felt like I should have known him in high school , but that wasn´t to be. I feel lucky to have gotten the chance. God bless you, Ron.

Where do I start on this one. Ron and I became friends in 7th grade. He was my best friend, best man at our wedding, and I was honored to be in his. We went through so much of life together. Always fun to be with and such a great friend to so many of us. Playing football at OPRF, going to Bears games, watching him get so into the Cubs, especially Ernie Banks.
I remember picking him up for lunch back in 70's when he worked for Int'l Harvester on Michigan Ave. We would go to RJ Grunts for their salad bar when they were the first of the Lettuce Entertain You group. I had never heard of the place, but he loved the salad bar and we always had fun reminiscing about OPRF and talking about our lives as they were at that time.
He and Andrea loved coming up to our place in Saugatuck and spending time boating and on the beach, and of course having a few Budweiser's. There are so many memories that come flooding back just looking at his obituary picture
He will be sorely missed by so many of us and especially his family who he loved so dearly. My deepest sympathy to all of you. We were all fortunate to share our lives with him.
RIP my dear friend!
