Ronald R. Hoffman, age 91, of Annandale, died Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Centennial Villa Memory Care Cottages in Annandale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Kevin Magner will Celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Annandale.
Ronald Richard Hoffman was born July 20, 1932, in Buffalo to Richard and Paula (Sieg) Hoffman. He grew up in Annandale, where he lived all his life. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. On June 16, 1956, he was united in marriage to June Marie Fuchs Kelly in Silver Lake. Ron worked in construction. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and Maple Lake V.F.W. Post 7664. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with friends, snowmobiling, and loved to joke around. Family was important to Ron and he enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, June Hoffman; daughters, Ronda (Harold) O'Brien of Monticello, Rebecca (Donald) Richardson of Annandale, Julianne (Tod) Pelarski of Pillager, and Jennifer Hoffman of Maple Lake; five grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Paula Hoffman; brother, Erwin Hoffman; sisters, Evelyn Mosher, Virginia Sullivan, and Laura Niesen.
St. Ignatius Music Ministry will provide the music for the service. The United States Air Force Honor Guard and the Maple Lake American Legion and VFW Honor Guard will provide the honors for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
