Ronald Eugene Ingram, age 82 of Ridgefarm, Illinois passed away at 12:04 A.M. on Monday, October 6, 2025 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM in Friends Chapel Cemetery in rural Chrisman, Illinois with Pastor Matt Schutter officiating.

Ronald was born on August 10, 1943, in Vermillion County, Indiana to Basil and Mildred Ingram.

He worked as a lab technician for Hercules and later served as a pastor, preaching for more than 25 years at several Nazarene churches. Ronald was an active member of the Olivet Church of the Nazarene. He had a love for outdoors and enjoyed camping and traveling. He also found joy in writing poetry.

He is survived by his children: Laurie Schatz (LeRoy) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jamie Whitesell (Brian) of Dana, Indiana, Chad Ingram (Stephanie) of Chrisman, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren + one on the way.

Ronald is preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia of 55 years, his parents, and his brother, Gary Ingram.

Memorial contributions may be made to Olivet Church of the Nazarene: 5054 Olivet Rd., Georgetown, IL 61846.
