It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and pappy, Ronald James Iser, age 82, who was carried into the presence of his Savior by the Holy Spirit on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Ron has "Fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he has kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for him the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will give me on that day and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearance." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
He was born April 22, 1943 in Bingham, WV. He was a devoted husband, father and pappy.
For 63 years he was married (February 3, 1962) to the love of his life Linda (Bradford) Iser, who he affectionately called "My Linda." He has three daughters Teni (Ron) Hoskinson, Rhonda (Carl) Williams, Kimberly (Chuck) Willis. The pride and joy of his life were his five grandchildren: Kahyla & Gabe, Lyndsey, Carl Jr and Pam; six great grandchildren: Landon, Luca, Lainey, Abby, Amia and Drexol; and one great great grandchild: Blake.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis Iser, Margaret & Frank Holbert; brother: Louis (Freda) Iser jr; sisters: Tressa (Stanley) Barr, Shirley (Larry) Clegg, Becky (Buddy) Worth, Mary Iser, Mary Kay (Kenny) Sala, baby Willis and many other loved ones. He is survived by sisters Marylin Plante and Sandra (John) DeSilvestri as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ron had unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He believed in the power of prayer and called the names of his family in prayer every single day. It was his hearts desire to see his family in heaven.
He knew and believed beyond a shadow of a doubt: "That my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see myself, and mine eyes shall behold and not another." (Job 19:25-27)
A private family service was held on his beloved farm.
