Mr. Ronald Lee Johnson, 70 of Lumber Bridge, NC was born in Robeson Co., NC on January 30, 1953 to the late Julius Lee and Ometter H. Johnson and departed this life, March 1, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Mae Lamb and a brother, Larry Wayne Johnson.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his wife, Ella Mae Smith Johnson of the home; one son, Frank T. Lamb and wife, Evelene of Lumberton; two daughters, Linda Thompson and husband, Bradley of Lumberton and Polly Ann Anderson and husband, David of Lumber Bridge; two sisters, Brenda Johnson Russell and husband, Steve of Petersburg, Va and Melinda Johnson Harding of St. Pauls; one special sister in-law, Linda Sue Baxley and her family; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Ronald loved life and it was evident to everyone. He was an avid fisherman and loved to play the role of Santa Claus during the Christmas season. Ronald was a member of Carolina Baptist Church in Parkton and he loved his church. Ronald will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
