Ronald was born in Perth Amboy and had lived and raised his family in Randolph.
He was the President of Hoogovens Aluminum USA in Secaucus. Ronald enjoyed traveling, food and drink, spending time at the West Morris YMCA and playing golf, but, he really loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his two sons; Brian and his wife Kelly Keiner and Kyle and his wife Jennifer, his two grandsons; Chase and Cole. He was predeceased by his wife Christine and his son; Ross.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 from 3:00-7:00PM located at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish on Friday, May 30th, to begin at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org

I remember lots of fun times with Ron, Chris and their boys at Lehigh events in both Massachusetts, New Jersey and at Lehigh. My parents, Arlene and Bob Shurts, my brothers Doug and Wayne and I all considered the Johnsons as good family friends. I am sorry for your loss.

Heartfelt condolences to the Johnson family. My mom, Dorothy Johnson, worked with Ron and Jerry Abrams and Jean Leanord for many years. This is the last lunch we had together back in 2017. It was a wonderful reunion.

So sad to hear of Ron's passing. A real shock. He attended my 85th birthday party on May 10 wearing his Lehigh Sweat Shirt and seemed fine. Eleanor & I express our condolences to the family.
