Ronald Ike Johnson, age 62, of Springfield, MO, was born on July 29, 1962. He passed away on June 10, 2025. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Alice Roberson and father Melvin Johnson as well as two of his siblings Rick Johnson and Melvin Johnson, and niece Alicia Johnson, and two nephews Brandon Johnson and Thomas Crance.
Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, camping and all outdoor activities with nature. Ronnie was a provider for his mother and siblings by hunting and collecting firewood and water from the spring for daily needs. Ronnie walked many miles in his lifetime to gather necessities for his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, food and laughter. Ronnie also liked to joke and have fun. He was always full of love and life.
Ronnie has two surviving sisters- Karen Knight and Crystal Sorrell. Three step siblings also survive- Steve Letterman, Mickey Letterman and Kayla Letterman. He is also survived by 8 nephews and nieces Litisha Beer, Rick Johnson, Travis Johnson, Amber Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Billy Johnson, Corbin Crance and Caleb Crance; and a host of great nieces and nephews and countless cousins and kinfolk.
All are invited to join the family for a funeral service on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Greenlawn Funeral Home, North beginning at 12:00 PM. A burial will follow at Yeakley Chapel Cemetery.
