It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Samuel Dean Biggers, who departed from this life on August 15, 2025, at the age of 78. A beloved husband, father, and cherished member of the community, Sam will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and faith.

Sam was born on January 30, 1947, in Marshfield, Missouri, growing up with the companionship of eight siblings. He excelled academically at Marshfield High School, graduating as Salutatorian before furthering his education at Southwest Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Sam married his beloved wife, Wanda Leigh, on November 5, 1966, and together they built a beautiful life, welcoming three children: Jonathan, Rebekah, and David.

A talented accountant, Sam dedicated many years to his profession, where his savvy with numbers shone brightly. Beyond his work, he committed himself to his faith, serving as a minister and sharing his passion for Christianity through Christian radio. He also found joy in the great outdoors and had a love for gardening, which brought him peace and fulfillment.

Sam's greatest love was his family. He cherished his wife of 59 years, Wanda, as well as his children and the many beautiful moments they shared together.

Sam was preceded in death by his grandson, Noah, two infant daughters, parents James Marion and Christina Louise (Smith) Biggers two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; three children and their spouses Jonathan and Kristi Biggers, Rebekah and Scott Brymer, and David and Janet Biggers; six grandchildren Aurora, Jotham, Owen, Adam, Abe, and Reid; five brothers Jim, Paul, Phillip, Mark, and Stephen; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Funeral services will take place on August 18, 2025. A visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 3:00 -5:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at the same location on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Willard. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Sam's life and celebrating the legacy of love and faith he leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support Jonathan's work in Medical Missions in Guatemala.
