Ronald Harlan Jungenberg

FALL RIVER - Ronald Harlan Jungenberg, age 80, of Fall River, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
Ronald was born on March 31, 1943, to Russell and Myrtle Jungenberg. He graduated from Oxford High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Ronald was a union electrician with the IBEW local 159 for 50 years. He was a good cook, enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Ronald also could fix anything and during his time as an electrician, he even worked at the South Pole. He was proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Ronald will be remembered for his love for his grandchildren, dog Starr, fishing, good food and time with family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his life partner, Patricia Hoskins; children: Kenneth (Jennifer) Jungenberg, Tanya (Michael) Sommerfeldt, and Christopher (Pam) Hoskins, Cara (Brandon) Butterfield; as well as grandchildren: Nickolas, Kristi (Darren), Aiden, Luka, Brody; and great-grandson, Harlan. Ronald is further survived by his siblings: John (Cheri) Roller Sr. and Shirley Sjoberg; along with other extended family members.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert; siblings: Raymond, Marilyn Lee Jungenberg, Marge (Dave) Osborne and Caroljean (Dennis) Carlson; brother-in-law, Vern Sjoberg; nephew, Brian Roller; niece, Peggy Schier; and great-nephew, Preston Roller.
A funeral service for Ronald Jungenberg will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Rev. Mike Vargo will preside, and private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family to be used toward suicide prevention.
