Ronald A. Kieliszewski, 79 years young, of Stevens Point, died Wednesday Nov. 2, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
He is the son of the late Roman and Leona (Smith) Kieliszewski.
Ronald attended St. Stephen Elementary, Pacelli and P.J. Jacobs High School.
He entered the U.S. Marine Corps on January 24, 1963 where he served in Vietnam as a Radio Operator. He was honorably discharged April 14, 1966.
His marriage to Mary Groshek took place on August 27, 1966 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stevens Point, raising two children, a daughter Pam (Paul) Blount and a son Todd (Rita) Kieliszewski.
Ronald retired from the Stevens Point Fire Dept. as Captain in July 1996.
Throughout his life serving as a member of the Marine Corp League, Amvets, and the Moose Family Center. He was also active with Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Name Society and the Boy Scouts for many years.
He was Preceded in death by his wife Mary, daughter Pam Blount, two brothers and one sister.
In Lieu of flowers a donation to any Humane Society would be appreciated.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday Nov. 10, 2022 at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Deacon Ray Heitzinger will officiate. Burial with full military honors will take place in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services Thursday Morning at the funeral home. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
