Ronald B. Kleiser

Ronald B. Kleiser, age 84 of Elkland, PA passed away at his home on Friday, July 18, 2025 after fighting a yearlong battle with cancer. He was born in York, PA on January 5, 1941 and was a son to the late Lester and Marguerite (Hoffman) Kleiser.
Ron graduated from York High School and later attended college where he received his business certificate. In his early years he enjoyed building homes - which led to him becoming a business owner. He owned and operated several car dealerships in York, PA and NY State. After Ron sold his car dealerships, he worked for York College as a part of the safety team and he drove the campus bus. On November 18, 2006 Ronald married Diane Marie Schoonover, spending 18 loving years together before his passing. Ron enjoyed anything outdoors; he loved riding motorcycles, camping, hunting and snowmobiling.
Ronald leaves behind his loving wife, Diane; sons, Steven (Chandra) Kleiser and Timothy Kleiser both of York, PA; daughter, Teresa (David) Kleiser-Eisentrout of Fredericksburg, MD; step-children, Regina (Chris) Pennell-Stauffer of OH, Beno Pennell of Liberty, PA and Jessica Pennell of FL; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Gail) Kleiser; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by both his parents and a granddaughter, Brooke Baker.
Family and friends are called to the Parkhurst Presbyterian Church, 302 W. Main St. Elkland, PA, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Denelsbeck officiating.
