Ronald James Knauer

Ronald James Knauer age 90, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his residence.
He was born in Erie on November 23, 1932 a son of the late Leslie J. and Helen Dehnert Knauer.
Ronald worked in electronics for RCA for several years.
He enjoyed cars, working on them and driving them as well as attending car shows. He loved music of all kinds and loved to sing. Ronald enjoyed life and was always smiling and joking. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was a very generous man, who donated to many charities over the years. Ronald also loved to travel, and spent a few months traveling all throughout Europe. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Knauer.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Hund; four nieces Kathi, Mary, Denise and Brynn and three nephews Jay, Evan, and Buck.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
