Ronald J. Konieczki

Ronald "Ron" J. Konieczki, 80, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Born May 5, 1944, in Rockford, the son of Francis J. and Stephanie V. (Stasica) Konieczki. Ron married Frances J. Licari on March 9, 1983. She predeceased him on October 14, 2014. He worked for Rockford Screw Products and upon retiring enjoyed driving a school bus for RPS 205. Ron was a life long golfer. He loved fishing on Lake Kegonsa, hunting, working on his 77' Vette, and manicuring his yard. Ron saw his need for a Savior ten years ago. Ron loved the Lord and shared this with everyone he met. His strong faith and walk with the Lord gave him the assurance that he'd be with Him in Heaven for eternity.
Survived by his daughter, Sherri (Rick) Beale; daughter-in-law, Trish (Jim) Simonovich; grandchildren, Rachel (Ryan) Snyder, Corey Konieczki, Trevor & Taylor Beale; and sister, Shirley (Jim) Suess. Also predeceased by son, Brett; and sister, Fran Prezioso.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford with a fellowship to follow at the American Lombardi Society, 209 Olive St., Rockford. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Private burial in New Milford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Rockford Rescue Mission, 715 W.
