Ronald "Ron" Frank Kuhs, age 81, found everlasting peace on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Ron was born in Milwaukee on January 1, 1944, to parents Christine and Frank Kuhs.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 50+ years Joan Kuhs (Ristow) and children Jeffrey (Frannie) Kuhs, Brett (Heidi) Mierendorf, Lyndsy (Peter) Di Nardo, Adam (Katie) Kuhs.

He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Ariel, Molly, Jake, Max, Chase, Payton, Ethan, and Noah as well as two great grandchildren, Bodhi and Luna. Ron and Joan also recently rescued a beloved dog, Freddy.

Ron spent his career as a substance abuse counselor for Pro Health in Waukesha County doing what he loved, helping others. Ron and his wife Joan also ran a successful salon and building for 30+ years in Wauwatosa.

As a lifelong Wisconsin resident, Ron loved watching his favorite Wisconsin sports teams. Ron also shared a great love and passion for the Wisconsin State Fair, making sure to attend as many days as possible each year! Ron also enjoyed getting out on the greens around Wisconsin for a round of golf.

Some of Ron's favorite bands were the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. When not listening to his favorite bands, you could catch him watching his favorite shows like westerns on Western Wednesdays on the TCM channel or game shows!

Ron was a foodie but especially loved his sweet treats! You couldn't go to his house without a stop at the candy drawer!

Ron and Joan spent 50+ years always by each other's side. They shared a bond built on faith, laughter, love, and devotion. Throughout life's joys and challenges, they stood hand in hand, always finding strength in one another.

Ron's Legacy lives on in all whose lives were touched by him.

Visitation and service will be private.
