Ronald R. L'Ecuyer Sr.

Ronald R. L'Ecuyer "Frenchie", 90, formerly of Englewood, FL and Fitchburg, passed away on Thursday evening, November 6, 2025 at his residence in the Solaris Hospice Home in Port Charlotte, FL.

Ron was born in Fitchburg, on February 26, 1935 the son of the late Sinai and Victoria (Richard) L'Ecuyer and grew up in Fitchburg graduating from St. Bernards High School.

Ron worked in the manufacturing industry in his early adult years at Margolin's, Fitchburg Paper Company, and Anwelt Shoe. Later, he moved into appliance sales working for many years at Airport Sales in Leominster before retiring from Stasukelis Appliance in Gardner.

Ron spent a lot of his time repairing and renovating homes. He seemed to always have a project going on at, and would occasionally take his show on the road to help family and friends. After retiring and moving to Florida, he enjoyed golf and fishing off his dock on Lemon Bay.

He leaves three sons, Michael L'Ecuyer and his wife Debbie of Ossipee, NH, David L'Ecuyer and his wife, Shelley of Dennis, and Ronald "Beef" L'Ecuyer Jr., and his wife, Kim of Westminster; six grandchildren, Derek L'Ecuyer, Nicole L'Ecuyer, Zackary L'Ecuyer, Alex L'Ecuyer, Chad L'Ecuyer, and Kristi Lacey; great grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Isabelle, and Mason.

He is predeceased by his wife Beverly (Rossi) L'Ecuyer and a daughter Michelle "Shelley" L'Ecuyer.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 22 at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg followed by a burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
