Etna, NH- Ronald (Buster) A. LaBombard Sr., 83, passed away Saturday January 31st at Dartmouth Health in Lebanon. He was born to the late Ronald L. & Rita (Castonguay) LaBombard. Ron's father died as a young man. He was raised by Rita and Harold E. Martin. Ron graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1961. He married June (Lower) in August 1964, she predeceased him on December 1, 1986. Following graduation, he began working for Chuck Wagon as a short order cook and then Tip Top Bakery, Trumbull Nelson, Hanover Water Co., Billings Dairy for 20 years and then the City of Lebanon for 15 years and part time for the Lebanon Recreation Dept. for 3 years before retiring in 2006.

He was a member of the Lebanon Motorcycle Club, Lebanon Elk's Club and the V.F.W. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking, but his greatest passion was coins. He took immense pride in collecting coins, antiques and memorabilia about the history of Lebanon. He loved his family dearly and valued the time he spent with them.

Ronald is survived by his companion of 38 years Trudy A. Savage, a son Ronald A. LaBombard Jr. (Robin), a sister Marie Guerin, step children Glenn Elder (Torey), Jane Barton (Steve), Joyce McGee (Tim), grandchildren Derry (Kamrin), Dillon, Cody (Heather), Cole, Clay, Kyle (Jenna), Megan (Adam), Ashley (Richard), Brianna (Tyler), Patrick (Taylor), Kathryn and seven great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife and three siblings Lorraine Mousely, Albert Martin and Andy Martin.

Family and friends are invited to Ron's calling hour at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday February 5th from 10 to 11 AM with his funeral to begin at 11 AM. Committal prayers will follow in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon, NH.
