Ronald Dwayne Lambert, born on February 21, 1979, in Dallas, Texas, went fishing in the sky on January 2, 2025, in Athens, Texas. He was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, remembered for his warm spirit and deep love for his family.
Ronald was the proud father of two daughters, Diana Lambert and Alexis Lambert, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Melody Thomas, who brought him immense joy. Ronald's love for his family extended to numerous bonus kids, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family members, with whom he shared many fond memories.
An avid fisherman, Ronald found solace and happiness by the water, casting his line with the hope of catching the next big one. In addition, he had a passion for collecting knives, a hobby that reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship and detail.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Lambert, and his sister, Sherry Juanita Lambert. Their presence in his life shaped who he became, leaving a lasting impact on his journey.
A memorial service to honor Ronald Dwayne Lambert will be held on January 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, located at 301 W Nash St, Terrell, TX 75160. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life and share in the cherished memories they hold.
Ronald Dwayne Lambert will be remembered not only for his love of fishing and his impressive knife collection but, most importantly, for the deep affection he had for his daughters and granddaughter. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved.
