Ronald Lewis Obituary
He was born on September 14, 1970 in Missouri to the late Ronald Lee Lewis and Esther Lee (Burris) Newburger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Lee "Buddy" Newburger; a grandfather, Earl Edward Lewis; and aunt and uncle, Homer and Ethel Halbert.
Ronald's faith guided his life. He was a very thoughtful and kind person; always willing to help others. He enjoyed cutting grass, gardening, looking for arrowheads, and antiquing. Mountain Dew was one of his favorite things. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.
Ronald will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his grandmother, Alma "Fern" Jones of Rolla, MO; one son, Matthew Lewis of Rolla, MO; a daughter, Melissa Lewis of St. Louis, MO; one grandson, Drake Lewis; his canine companion, Lucy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service for Ronald E. Lewis will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Davis Cemetery in Rolla.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Davis Cemetery.
