Ronald W. Lindner, Sr., 85, a resident of Ringtown, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, December 16th, 2025.
Ronald was born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital in Shenandoah on March 8, 1940, a son of the late Woodrow W. Lindner and Helen (Sabo) Scott. He was a 1958 graduate of the former Ringtown High School, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
In addition to a lifetime of working on his families farm, Fair Acres in Ringtown, he began a career working as a machinist, retiring from the former Barrett and Haentjens Company in Hazleton.
He enjoyed raising horses, along with building and restoring automobiles and trailers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lindner.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sheryl (Reese) Lindner, along with their children, Linda, wife of James Tarlecki of Aristes; Ronald Lindner and his wife Jennifer of Orangeville; and Robert Lindner of Ringtown. Eight grandchildren also survive, James (J.T.) Tarlecki, Jr; Robert Tarlecki; Bryan Tarlecki (Nicole); Kristen Smith (Matthew); Jonathon Lindner; Catherine Robbins; Sullivan Lindner and Elise Lindner, along with five great grandchildren, Charlotte Smith; Alexandria Smith; Connor Tarlecki; Michael Tarlecki and Alexzander Robbins.
Two brothers, James Lindner and his wife Kathryn and Terry Lindner, both of Ringtown also survive, as does his sister in-law, Carlene Linder of Patriotic Hill, along with nieces and nephews.
