Ron passed away from a heart attack on May 27, 2025 at the age of 87.
Ron was born in Glasgow, Montana in 1937. He spent his youth working on his dad’s farm as well as other family businesses. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University. After graduation he served as an Engineer at the Glasgow Airforce Base. When the announcement was made that the base was closing, he accepted a position in England for six years where he led many large construction projects for DOD. After returning to the United States, Ron led the Air National Guard construction team and then the Environmental Management Office leading many projects in all 50 states.
After he retired, he moved back to Glasgow to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the amazing town that he grew up in. For a retirement project, he developed the Silver Hills lots at Fort Peck Lake.
Ron will be deeply missed by his son Wynn, his grandchildren and many friends that he made through the years.
Delia “Dee” Torgerson Watson passed away at the age of 87, on July 18, 2024.
Dee was born in Glasgow, Montana in 1936, and held a deep fondness for nature and her Montana roots. Dee spent much of her young adulthood living in Ethridge, Montana and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. She worked as a teacher for several years. She had two children, Vance Watson and Wynn Watson and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She loved to fly airplanes and received her pilot’s license when she was 13. She owned several planes over the years and for over 20 years worked as a Glider Tow Pilot. She flew planes virtually every weekend into her mid 70s.
She enjoyed writing and published a book titled “Adam, How to pack your backpack.” The book was originally to be a book in short story form to teach beginners how to prepare for hiking and camping in the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. It evolved to be a fictional story about a 14-year-old boy named Adam.
Dee will be missed by her husband Ron Watson, her son Wynn and many friends in Maryland and Montana.
