Ronald O. Mandato

Ronald O. Mandato, age 75, of Dagsboro, DE formerly of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his own home.
Ron was born in The Bronx, NY on October 19, 1948 son of Oreste Mandato and Yolanda (Savoca) Mandato. He had attended college at Pace University.
Ron owned his own real estate appraisal company, Absolute Appraisals until his retirement in 2018. He was a former member of the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Group and enjoyed life near the water as he was an avid boater and fisherman. Ron also enjoyed golfing and was a lover of all types of music, particularly the Oldies and Doo-wop. Ron loved a good meal and he would frequent the Frankford Diner and the Millsboro Pizza Palace.
In addition to his mother, Yolanda Mandato of California, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Donnalynn (Rutherford) Mandato; three sons, Michael Mandato of Middletown, DE, Jason Mandato of Newark, DE and Nicholas Mandato of Dagsboro, DE; two grandchildren, Alexis Mandato and Payton Mandato both of Newark, DE and a sister Elaine Mandato and her wife, Colleen Zickgraf of Moorpark, CA.
Services and burial will be held privately.
