Ron proudly joined and served in the United States Army. He was employed as a foreman for TJ's Fencing Co for the past 27 years. He spent several years out West as a hunting and fishing guide. Ron loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He really enjoyed sitting in his basement and watching for wild animals and birds. He also purchased a Harley recently that he was looking forward to riding.
Surviving Ron are his siblings, Sheila Amann of Carol Stream, IL and Steve Marovets of Monticello, Wi; step-children; Megan (Travis) Leas and Josh Eubanks; special friend, Sharon Ingles; niece, Cassie King and nephew, Nick Amann; uncle Robert Dull and cousins.
Preceding Ron in death were his parents, Robert Marovets and Susann (Dull) Little; and his brother, Robert Lee Marovets.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Monona United Methodist Church in Monona, Iowa. There will also be a one -hour visitation before services at the church on Wednesday.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Monona United Methodist Church in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Cat Stokes as the officiant.
Interment will follow at Monona City Cemetery, Monona, Iowa.
Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monona, Iowa is assisting the family with services.

It seems like just yesterday that you were talking about going out on the boat to go fishing in your favorite spot for walleye and how many fish we were going to catch... now you can rest with no more pain..the last thing you said to me was that I needed to get to la Crosse because you needed to talk to me, but I arrived and you never spoke again...even though you gave me a hard time a lot ,we were always close and I will miss you, but I'm glad you're at peace... My prayers are with your family!!
