Ronald C., age 99, passed away on November 26, 2025, of Drexel Hill, PA.

Ronald was born in Hackensack, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Daniel and Antoinette Melchiorre (nee Cagnola). Predeceased by his wife, Sidney M. (nee Finocchio), and his eleven siblings.

Ronald was a beloved soul whose life was a testament of his Catholic faith, love and strength. He was known for his generosity, having fun and especially his love of family.

Ronnie, as his family knew him, graduated from Hackensack High School after which he joined the Navy to help in the cause and fight in World War II. After serving in World War II, he got married and began working at his father-in-law's butcher shop in the Philadelphia Reading Terminal Market. While working there he enrolled in St. Joseph's College night program in Accounting. Ronnie graduated from the now St. Joseph's University and worked at Sun Chemical Corporation until his retirement.

He loved golf and music, especially Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Ronnie was an artist in his later years with a gift for color. He cherished moments traveling with loved ones and had a special passion for cheering on the Eagles and Phillies.

He was survived by his children, Elizabeth Thatcher, Ronald S. (Pam), Joanne Mushlit (Larry), and Carol McKeon (the late Jeffrey), beloved grandfather of Sydney, Janelle, Geveneen, Matt, Alison, Amber, Lawrence, Alexis, and Mark. Also, survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and his three great-great-grandchildren.

Relatives & friends are invited to Ronald's Viewing Friday, December 5th 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Andrew the Apostle, 3500 School Ln, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
