Ronald Dean Melzer

Ronald Dean Melzer of Gnadenhutten passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio on February 3rd, 2026. He was Born on March 12th, 1955 to the late Howard G and Ada P. (Gilmore) Melzer. Ronald was a lifelong resident of Gnadenhutten and worked and retired from Aleris LLC. Ronald was fond of his gardening, feeding the birds, fishing, hunting, and his dog. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and collected them for many years.

Ronald was preceded in death by a sister Dottie Weiner of Ashville, North Carolina.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Anita Melzer of 52 years; his son, Ronald Jason Melzer and his partner, Steven R. Miller of Mineral City; his daughter, Rikki Christine Warner (Melzer) of Port Washington; his three grandkids, A.J Warner of Gnadenhutten, Keegan Warner of Gnadenhutten, and Ashton Warner of Uhrichsville; two great-grandkids; and his siblings; Bob (Lynette) Melzer of Tusky, Chuck (Mary) Melzer of Uhrichsville, Ann (Gary) Reiger of Strasburg, Mike (Connie) Melzer of Sherrodsville, and Wayne Melzer of Illinois.
