Ronald Keith Mink

Ronald Keith Mink, 62, of Abilene, TX passed away at his home on Nov. 6, 2022. He was born April 2, 1960, in Port Hueneme, California to Bobbie and David Mink. He spent many of his younger years between Tennessee, Abilene, and Sweetwater. After high school in Sweetwater, Ron joined the Navy and was stationed on the nuclear submarine USS John C. Calhoun. His next duty station was Pensacola, FL where he served as a Navy Corpsman until he was honorably discharged in 1982. Eventually moving back to Sweetwater, he joined the Fire Department in 1989 and retired as a Paramedic in 2009. He spent the next few years working for Paragon as a security guard in Federal Buildings and in 2016 moved to Abilene. He worked at the State School in multiple capacities until his passing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Pierson, his father, David Mink and brother Robbie Mink. He is survived by his sons Daniel and Brian Mink, daughter Audrey Mink and grandson Ezekiel Mink. Sister Carla Lehrmann and her husband Randy of Blackwell. Brother Jason Pierson and his wife Bonnie of Bastrop and various nieces and nephews.
