MORGAN, Ronald B., 59, of Richmond, formerly of Jamaica, N.Y., passed away February 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross L. Morgan Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Tien Grooms and husband, Marlon, and Tracee Morgan; his mother, Bertha V. Morgan; a sister, Brenda Dawkins and husband, Robert; a brother, Michael Morgan Sr. and wife, Kathleen; his girlfriend, Lurvie Pendergrass; seven grandchildren, Jyptian, Jhasire, Jamel, Justin, Jason, Tommie-Alexis and Taylor; two nieces and three nephews. Ronald retired from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He also served in the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
