Ronald Edward Morgan

May 23rd, 1955, to August 31st, 2025

Ron Morgan, 70, of Buckley passed away suddenly April 31st, 2025. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Ron was born May 23rd, 1955, in Yreka, California to Jack and Kathryn Morgan. He grew up in Yreka and graduated from Yreka High School in 1973. In 1974 he met the love of his life, Peggy Smith. After moving to Washington in 1976, they married Sept 3rd 1977. They had 3 children. Travis, Mackenzie, and Mallory. Mackenzie passed away at birth.

Ron's greatest accomplishment in life was his children and grandchildren. He loved to attend all their school functions, award ceremonies and sporting games. He was always ready to support and cheer them on no matter what the occasion he would be there. He attended many travel baseball tournaments, tackle Football and soccer games. He loved gardening and tending to his huge garden. Growing flowers, vegetables and a mini pumpkin patch for the grandkids in the fall. He loved just being around his family and hanging out, mowing the lawn and just puttering around the yard. Sitting out on his yellow bench with a cup of coffee watching the squirrels and feeding his birds. Simply just being with his wife and family made him a happy man. He loved our yearly beach trips to Long Beach and Westport. He loved flying his kite.

Ron is survived by his wife Peggy Morgan of 48 years. Son Travis Morgan and wife May of Buckley and their two children Erica and Trevor. Daughter, Mallory Smith and her husband Jared of Bonney Lake and their three children Easton and Tinley Erfle and Conner Coyle. Siblings Carol Brower, Anita McDonald, and Eric Morgan. Ron was preceded in death by Daughter Mackenzie Morgan, his parents Jack and Kathryn Morgan, Brother John Morgan, Brother Alan Morgan.

We would like to thank the East Pierce Fire & Rescue Station for their quick 911 response and help with Ron on August 20th.
