Ronald Stephen Nagy, 84, of Granger, IN, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on September 1, 2025.
Ron was born on June 4, 1941, in South Bend, Indiana, to Stephen and Jean (Smurr) Nagy.
An avid golfer and fisherman, Ron was a proud member of Knollwood Country Club, where he once served as Club President.
Above all else, Ron cherished his family. A devoted father and grandfather, he often declared, “I LOVE MY FAMILY!”
Ron is survived by his former wife, Frances (Deguc) Nagy; daughters, Patricia Pulido of Mesa, AZ, and Jenelle Horvath of Granger, IN; sons, Ronald Nagy Jr. of South Bend, IN, Jason Nagy of Denver, CO, and Jeffrey Nagy of South Bend, IN; beloved grandchildren: Carter, Rachael, Aiden, Parker, Braeden, Maya, Kylin, Weston, Zarin, and Devin; and brothers: Nicholas, Bret, and Bart.
Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter that will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 6:00 PM at The Knollwood Country Club in the upstairs ballroom.
