Elizabeth Cunniff, 95, of South Bend, IN, passed away peacefully. She was born on September 23, 1929, in Maywood, IL, to Chase and Oral (Paine) Wilson.

Elizabeth was a dedicated and long-time German teacher at Marian High School in Mishawaka, IN, where she inspired generations of students. Books were her best friend, and she found great joy in her book club and the companionship of her teacher friends. She also loved playing the piano and tending to her garden.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Dickerson of South Bend, IN; daughters Lori (Frank) Vonachen of La Grange, IL, Carie Shulla of Madison, WI, and Amy (Mike) Boardley of Granger, IN; sons Pat (Pam) Cunniff of Brooklyn, WI, Nate (Mary) Cunniff of Hartland, WI, Matt (Beth Bayer) Cunniff of Verona, WI, and Steve (Mandi Solterman) Cunniff of Middleton, WI. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
