Carter Joseph Cunniff
On April 16, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 17. Beloved son of Michael and Diane (nee Zalewski) Cunniff. Dear brother of Colin and Christian. Cherished grandson of Joseph "Papa" and Christine "Nana" Zalewski. Loving nephew of Robert Zalewski and Denise Zalewski. Dear cousin of Anna Zalewski and Emily Zalewski.
Carter was an amazing son, brother, grandson, teammate, and classmate. He cherished his time at Our Lady of Hope Elementary School, and Paul VI High School. He was planning to attend Penn State University in the fall. Carter was an athlete and an exceptional student. He played soccer, was the captain of the volleyball team, and a member of The National Honor Society.
His kindness and generosity touched many people. Humble and wise beyond his years. His goofiness and humor entertained his family. Carter's smile was unforgettable!
To his older and younger brothers, Carter was a role model, best friend, confidant, teacher, coach, and competitor. Carter was artistic and creative. He also loved to go to the gym and workout.
He was the sunshine to our family.
Carter will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten!
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
In honor of Carter's life, his family asks no flowers be sent and would encourage any donations to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Diane, Mike, Colin, and Christian, Carter will always hold a special place in our hearts. From the moment we met him as an adorable little toddler, full of life and joy, to the remarkable young man he became, Carter was truly one of a kind. We'll always remember how much he loved getting his lollipops-a little moment that brought so much happiness to him and to us.

This heartbreaking news has left us utterly devastated. It´s hard to find the right words to express the depth of sorrow we feel for you and your family. Our hearts ache alongside yours, and we can only imagine the pain you are enduring.

Diane and Mike you are extraordinary dedicated parents, and your love and dedication to your children have always been so clear. Your family has been, and will continue to be, in our constant thoughts and prayers. Please know that you are surrounded by love and support during this unimaginably difficult time.

We are holding you close in our hearts. May our Heavenly Father hold you in the palm of His hands.
Love from our hearts to yours, Debbie, Barb, Dr. Garner, Dr. Jess, and Dr. Ryan

Mike, Diane, Colin and Christian,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Carter was a joy. I loved having him in class and seeing him in the hallways as he grew and moved on. I have fond memories of your beautiful family during cross country and 5Ks with my boys. OLOH surely was a place for building relationships and expanding family. Carter will always have a special place in my heart. May God bless you with healing. Love & Blessings, Jacki & Rich Montgomery & Family
