Michael Charles Kelley, 77, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 1, 2025.

Michael was born on March 30, 1948, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Robert and Virginia (Ganoung) Kelley. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy for eight years, a chapter of his life marked by dedication and patriotism.

On October 30, 1970, Michael married Jean Labadie, and together they shared more than five decades of love, partnership, and family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father to two sons, and a cherished grandfather.

Michael was a faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Notre Dame football. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Kelley; sons, Robert Kelley (Michele Davis) of Rockwood, MI, and Sean Kelley of Edwardsburg, MI; granddaughters, Nora and Adalaide Kelley of Edwardsburg, MI; sisters, Judy Buchholtz of Spokane, WA, and Debbie Kelley of Dallas, OR; and brother, Robert (Roslyn) Kelley of Grayslake, IL.

McGann’s American Cremation Society is assisting the family with arrangements.
