Frankfort, Kentucky - Ronald L. Roark, 76, of Frankfort, KY, passed away on January 29, 2026. Ronnie was born on August 8, 1949, to Lawrence and Dovie Sutherland Roark in Versailles, KY. He is survived by his wife Lyn, his son, Christopher and his granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Roark, a sister Wanda Montgomery (Daril), and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Ronnie retired from Lexington Fire Department. Ronnie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Services are postponed at this time and will be announced at a later date.

I met Ron at home depot. We had alot of enjoyable conversations over those 8 years. After home depot closed I was fortunate to get a job at FPB. I would look forward each month when Ron came in to pay the bill. We would reminisce on the good times we had working with each other. Then I retired to Florida and lost contact. I was so saddened to hear of Ron passing today from a friend at FPB. He talked all the time about his family of which he was so proud of. My thoughts and prayers to his wife, son and granddaughter. He will be missed!!

I met Ron at Home Depit in frankfort. We had many conversations together and I enjoyed every one of them. Our friendship continued as home depot closed and I was fortunate enough to be employed with FPB. I would look forward when I saw Ron each month when it was time to pay the bill. We continued updating each other and reminiscing our good times working together. I then retired to Florida and lost contact with Ron. I was very saddened to hear about his passing today from a friend who still works at FPB. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to his wife, son and granddaughter. He spoke about his family all the time. I'm so sorry to hear of Ron's passing

Ron was such a good person. Many conversations with him at McDonald´s breakfast group. We miss him terribly.
