Ronald Savage Obituary Ronald Savage, 73, died on February 26,2024, at 2:51 a.m., at Brentwood Nursing Home in Danvers, MA, after a long illness.
He was born on February 23, 1951, in Newburyport, Massachusetts to Robert and Elizabeth "Betty" Savage of Rowley Massachusetts.
Ronald attended and graduated from Newburyport High School in 1969 and spent his life in Rowley. He was married to Sandra Knight of Newburyport, for 54 years until her death in 2018 and worked for the State of Massachusetts as a foreman.
Ronald enjoyed watching New England sports teams, travel to the Caribbean with his wife Sandra, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Julie Savage of Rowley, MA; his sister, Sharon Magee of Rowley, and brother Michael Savage both of Rowley; a brother-in-law, Ron Thistlewood of Rowley, a sister-in Law-Linda Knight of Newbury. He also had a sister Judith Tebbetts of Amesbury and brother Bobby Savage of Rowley, both now deceased. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces. A private burial was held in March 2024. and a memorial service for late June-early July 2024 at his burial site at Rowley Burial Ground, followed by a celebration of life at his daughters home in Rowley.
