Passed away peacefully while surrounded in prayer by his loving family on February 17, 2025.
He is predeceased by his parents, George and Lucille Scarpulla. Ron is survived by Terry, his wife of 53 years; his 3 children, Amie (Bob) Liming, Michael (Chris) Scarpulla and Danielle (Bob) Scheer. His grandchildren, Jeremiah, Ashley, Emily, Carli, Morgan, and Mackenzie also brought him great joy.
Ron will be remembered for his veteran service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and as a lieutenant with the Rochester Fire Department where he served the community for more than 30 years. He will be most remembered for his unwavering love and selfless dedication to his family and friends, love for the outdoors, and his desire to put a smile on the faces of those who surrounded him.
The family greatly appreciates your condolences but will be holding a private service in Ron’s honor.
