On December 21, 2025, Ronald "Ron" Lee Schleig, 78, passed away. Ron was born on June 11, 1947, to the late Lee and Clara Schleig.

Ron proudly served in the United States Navy for over three years and earned the National Defense Medal during his time. After he was honorably discharged, he later worked for the Metropolitan Police in Washington, DC.

On April 10, 1989, Ron married the love of his life, Nancy. He was fortunate to welcome two stepsons into his family: Jamel Masri (Christina) from Mechanicsville, MD, and Jason Masri, also from Mechanicsville, MD.

In his free time, Ron loved fishing, crabbing, and boating. He was also a dedicated member of the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge 495.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brother Christopher Schleig. He is
survived by his beloved wife, stepsons, sister Melissa Schleig, brother Stephen Schleig, and grandchildren Thomas Masri, Zaynah Masri, Kierstyn Masri, and Evann Masri.
