Ronald will be lovingly remembered for the simple joys that brought him comfort and happiness throughout his life. He had a deep and devoted love for his beloved cat, Suzy, who preceded him in death. Their bond was one of quiet companionship, and those who knew Ronald knew just how much Suzy meant to him.
Ronald enjoyed the familiarity of classic television and could often be found watching his favorite old shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show and Let’s Make a Deal. These programs brought him laughter and comfort, that he truly cherished.
In his younger years, Ronald attended National Trail, where he discovered a talent for running track. He took great pride in his athletic achievements, winning many ribbons and proving his determination and competitive spirit on the track.
Ronald lived life in his own way, finding happiness in companionship, memories, and the routines that made him feel at home. He will be remembered for his quiet spirit, his love for the things that mattered most to him, and the lasting impressions he left on those who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1PM to 2PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Dr. Raymond Rothwell officiating, and Ronald will be laid to rest at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
