Ronald J. Smith Jr.

Ronald J. Smith, Jr., age 67, of Brick passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. Ron was born in Red Bank and was formerly of Middletown before moving to Brick in 1989. He was a union carpenter working for Local Union # 2250 and J&J Worldwide Services as a Maintenance and Service Manager retiring in 2022. Ron served in the U.S. Navy from 1977-1981. He loved fishing and you would find him out on the water anytime of the day.

Ron is survived by his wife of 37 years Tina and their son Sean and his wife Nicole, three grandchildren: Piper, Jameson and Cooper, his sister Tracey Puglisi and her partner Florindo Volpacchio. Ron is also survived by his four nieces and many loving family and friends.

Cremation was under the direction of Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Ron's Memory.
