Ronald Wayne Sticker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at his home. He was born February 18, 1952, to the late Ronald Lee Sticker and Bessie Joyce Sticker in Pt. Arthur, TX.
Ronnie's wife, Shirley, the love of his life, preceded him in death on January 24, 2004.
Ronnie is survived by his 3 loving children and their families. Billy Sticker and his wife, Rustee, and their children Brady, his wife Sara & their son River, Taylor and her husband Tomas, and Brenden. Clint Sticker and his wife Chelsea and their children Bryce, Emma, Maxx, and Kayli. Jessica Norman and her husband David and their children Mason, Madden, and Tenley. Ronnie leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of his siblings, Walter Sticker, his wife Lynn, Michael Sticker, Karen Buckner-Sticker and several nephews and nieces.
He was a dedicated father who cherished his family and took great pride in their accomplishments.
During his lifetime, Ronnie made significant contributions to his community. He served as the Chief of Police in Lumberton, Texas, leaving a lasting impact on the town he once called home. After retiring from law enforcement, he utilized his skills by working in security for various refineries throughout Southeast Texas.
At the time of his passing, Ronnie was a cherished employee for ChiroCandy Marketing, working alongside his son and grand-kids. He never met a stranger and we know this by his ability to engage in heartfelt conversations, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Wednesday afternoon, May 24, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life to begin at 3:00 p.m.
