Ronald Todd Obituary
Ronald Todd, 92, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and Cocoa Beach, FL passed away on Saturday February 24th in Middletown, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late James and Helen Todd. He and his relatives have been living and visiting the Bayshore area since the 1920's.
Beloved former spouse to the late Mary Lorraine (Markham) Ruggiero. Devoted Father to Jane Todd (Middletown), Cathy Brunetti and husband Pat (Hasbrouck Heights), Margaret Todd (La Mesa, CA), James Todd and partner Paul Castrataro (Los Angeles, CA), Betsy Todd (Brooklyn, NY). Dear brother of Valerie Smialek and the late Judith Bernhardt, as well as an Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Loving Grandfather of Patrick Brunetti and wife Alayne, Nick Brunetti and wife Natalie, Thomas Allegretta and fiancée Holly Etzkorn, Michael Allegretta and partner Sydney Fairhurst, Steven Allegretta and fiancée Nicole Cleary. Cherished Great-Grandfather to Nicholas & Audrey Brunetti, and Layla & Mason Allegretta.
Ron was an avid saltwater fisherman and was well known on the The Princess in Port Canaveral. He was a skilled Bricklayer and held a 70 year Gold card with NY Local Union 1 of Rego Park, Queens. He was a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Pioneer Social Club and always fancied a Schaefer beer. Ron enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Frank Sinatra & Patsy Cline, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune in his leisure. He was a passionate Notre Dame Football fan and could always be found watching the Fighting Irish on a Saturday. He was known for his quick wit, storytelling and always had "his way" of fixing anything. A true jack-of-all-trades.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 27th, from 3-6 pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. Cremation will be private

I was Ronald´s Cousin Patty when he lived on Bayberry Lane in N.J. We would duck out of church early on Sundays so we could have ice cream sundaes at Campbells Junction. I remember those as the Good Times!
