Ronald James Trayah, 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his home in Lovell. Ronald was born on December 23, 1946, in Burlington, Vermont, to Delbert and Shirley Trayah.
He married Loula Lightfoot.
Ronald served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1973.
In 2001, he moved from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Lovell.
Ronald loved to fish, hunt, and sit with family and friends and talk about the old times.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Dora; and siblings, Delberta Brace, Alice Trayah, Richard Trayah, and Rosalie Gilooly.
Ronald is survived by his siblings, Leola Griffin of Powell, WY, Frances (Richard) Poquette of Milton, VT, Paulette (Maurice) Dennis of Georgia, VT, Donna Brouillard of Milton, VT, Anthony "Tony" (Pamela) Charlebois of Saint Albans, VT; his daughters, Shirley (Tom) Langston of Lovell, WY, Rosi Gonzalez of Marshall, TX, Carolyn Elgart of Colorado Springs, CO, Laura Keegan of Sierra Vista, AZ; 12 grandchildren from Lovell, Colorado Springs, and Ohio; 8 great-grandchildren from Lovell, Powell, and Ohio.
Memorial Services will be held at Haskell Funeral Home on March 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel on May 16th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
