Ronald Trexler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Clawson on Mar. 3, 2026.
Ronald Herbert Trexler passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and strength that will forever live on in his family.

Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Christine Jean Trexler. Together they raised a family that became the center of his world.

He was a proud and devoted father to his five children: Charise Zielinsky, Sue (Dave) Fix, Diane Trexler, Missey (Mark) Sadecki, and Ronnie Trexler. His greatest joy was watching his family grow. He cherished his eleven grandchildren - Cara, Alisa, Derek, Jamie, Jake, Erin, Katelynn, Michael, Matthew, Reanna, and Lila - and was blessed with five great-grandchildren - Marley, Hudson, Casey, Stella, and Aspen. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he took pride in their accomplishments and milestones.

Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Army, reflecting a lifelong sense of duty, discipline, and commitment. The values he carried from his military service shaped the way he lived and the example he set for his family.

Ronald dedicated 34 years of his career to 3M Business Products, where his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment were evident to all who worked alongside him. He took pride in providing for his family and building a stable foundation through his years of service.

In later years, Ronald was grateful for the loving companionship of Diane Bireescu, who shared many meaningful years by his side. Their time together brought comfort, laughter, and friendship.

Ronald will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet strength, and his deep love for his family. The lessons he taught - through hard work, resilience, and perseverance - will continue to guide those who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Ronald will be Friday, March 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 North Crooks Road, Clawson, MI 48017.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 7, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 280 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, MI 48085. Gathering begins at 9:30 a.m., with Mass celebrated from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

A luncheon will immediately follow at Ernie's, 16655 19 Mile Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 at 11:30 a.m.

Memorial Donations in Ronald's name can be made out to ReJoyceful Animal Rescue, 44682 Morley Drive, Clinton Twp., MI 48036.

He will be forever loved and never forgotten.

My condolences to you on the loss of your dad. I have so many wonderful memories of our summer days at Grandma and Grandpa's pool. Uncle Ron and my beautiful Aunt Chris...so much fun and laughter and love. The Double Bubble Gum stash in the closet, Grandpa playing the organ, my sister and Missey and I "painting our nails" with the petals from the flowers that grew on the swimming pool gate, swimming at night with the pool lights on, Uncle Rick and his fancy dives, Cousin Todd yelling out the car window to some lucky girls, "Where's the hamburger to go with that shake?!" LOL. How lucky we were to have those special times together! They are forever tucked away in my heart. Blessings to all of you. Keeping you all close in my thoughts and prayers. With much love, your cousin Wendi.

Ron was my cousin. His mother Alma and my mother Alyce were sisters. Our grandparents were Adolph and Alma Tust, who came to Allentown, PA., in the early 20th century. They raised five children. Alma and Alyce spoke only German until they went to school.

I have so many great memories of Ron as a child and as an adult. He was kind and loved family so very much.

My sincere condolences to all the Trexler family, John Moore
