Ronald Dale Vines, 81, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the Retreat at Kenwood. Born on October 25, 1943, to Dale and Aaron Vines. Ronald was a proud graduate of Stamps High School in Arkansas. A dedicated and hard-working man, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long career with Procter & Gamble before retiring and pursuing his entrepreneurial spirit. Ronald owned and operated Farmers Supply in Ashdown and later opened his own lawn care service, continuing to serve his community with the same diligence and care that defined his life.

Ronald was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord deeply. He had a kind heart and a steady spirit. Those who knew him will remember his love for strong coffee, quiet mornings spent bird watching, and the deep pride he had for his family. He was married for 30 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Denise Vines, who survives him. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, love, and laughter.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving siblings: Gerald (Patsy) Vines of Little Rock, AR; Royce (Billie) Vines of Buckner, AR; and Delores (Travis) Giles of Magnolia, AR. He also leaves behind his children: Robby (Nicki) Harris of Lewisville, AR; Jason (Stefannie) Vines of Stuart, FL; Jennifer (Shannon) Crews of Arden, AR, and Ashley (Matt) Slater of Greenwood.

Ronald was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Ronald's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a veteran's organization or church of your choice in Ronald's memory.
