It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Aaron Vollrath on September 15, 2024, at the age of 60 due to heart complications. Born in Mableton, Georgia, Ronald-known to everyone as "Ronnie"-lived a life filled with hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family and community.
A graduate of South Cobb High School, Class of 1982, Ronnie pursued a successful career in the mirror and glass industry. After many years honing his craft, he realized his dream by establishing his own business, Best in Glass, in 2020. His reputation for quality work and outstanding service made him well-known in his field, and he operated his business with passion and pride until his passing.
Though Ronnie never married, his family was the center of his life. He is survived by his loving sister, Denise Butler, his brother, Glenn Vollrath, and his sister, Cynthia Brown. He was a beloved uncle, brother, and friend, always offering a smile and lending a helping hand to those around him.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched through his work and generosity. His legacy will live on through the craftsmanship he left behind and the memories shared with those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Alpharetta from 5:30-7:30pm.
