Ronald J. Wanichko, 65, of Greensburg, died Friday, February 23, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 09, 1959, in Latrobe, a son of Jerry Wanichko of Latrobe, and the late Dorothy Cute Wanichko. Ron was presently working for Consolidated Asset Management Services in Indiana as a heavy equipment operator. He had also served as a past union steward. He and Deb were members of the Slovak Club in Greensburg. While his daughters were in school, he was very active with coaching and attending their basketball and softball games and enjoyed his time playing with his grandchildren. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost forty years, Deborah J. Zupan Wanichko; two daughters, Shannon O'Brien (Jeremy) of Meadville and Samantha Pardee (Levi) of Chester, VA; four grandchildren, Cooper Pardee, Melina O'Brien, Wesleigh Pardee and Brianna O'Brien; three brothers, Jerry Wanichko of MD, Kevin Wanichko and Brian Wanichko (Kelly), all of Latrobe; in laws, Joseph and Helen Zupane of North Charleroi; sister in law, Diane Metzger of Monessen; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ron, Tuesday from 2 to 4:30 p.m., the time of services, in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to The Glioblastoma Foundation at glioblastomafoundation.org or by mail to P.O.
