Ron Webb, 82, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on October 23, 2025. He was born in Washington, IN on February 22,1943 to Charles and Dorothy Webb. The family moved to Sacramento, CA in 1950 where he grew up.
He graduated from C.K. McClatchy Senior High School in 1960, received his A.A. at Sacramento City College and his Bachelor of Science in Management from Golden Gate University in 1976.
Ron served his country in the United States Army for 4 years (1965-1969) and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
He met Pat at Sacramento City College while working together in student government. Upon his return from Vietnam, they were married on October 18, 1969, and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
After a 20+ year career working in the banking industry, he turned his love of travel into a second career, graduating from the International Tour Management Institute in 1991 and became the ultimate tour director, discovering and learning new things while traveling to all 50 states and around the world. He had a unique way of connecting with people and making them feel special.
Ron was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, AR and St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Sacramento, CA. You could always find him filling leadership positions and helping with numerous events from food banks to fireworks booths.
He was an avid reader, loved jigsaw puzzles, and eating ice cream (especially Vanilla!).
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Clayton and Ruby Webb and Lyman and Lela Mae Wallace; aunt and uncle, Laura and Norman Lawyer; and uncle, William Wallace.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, his son, Kevin, his brother, Don (Patricia), his cousin, Kay Rutkowski (Joe); his sister-in-law, Kathy Rose (Vern); nephew, Shawn Jackson (Delana); his niece, Brooke Cloud (Chas); great nieces, Marlo Jackson, Isla Mae Cloud; and his great nephews, Cooper Jackson and Sawyer Jackson.
