Ronald Dean Weide, age 67, of Toronto, Kansas, passed away at his home on February 13, 2026. Ron was born May 1, 1958, in Chanute, Kansas to Milton and Shirley (Boyce) Weide.

Ron attended LaHarpe Elementary School and graduated from Iola High School in 1976.

He lived his younger years in LaHarpe, Kansas and moved to Toronto, Kansas with his family as a young adult, where he spent the remainder of his life.

Ron was a member of the Coyville Christian Church, where he served as Deacon.

He was a member of the Woodson Lodge #121 in Toronto for 23 years. Ron was also an active member of the Ol' Settlers organization in Neosho Falls, Kansas.

Ron loved God, his friends, and family, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs.

He was always a happy person, would visit with anyone he encountered, and always greeted them with a huge smile.

Ron was a hard worker. For many years he mowed lawns with his dad and brother Tom in the Toronto, Coyville area.

Ron was preceded in death by his parent.

He is survived by his beloved pets, his cat Suki and dog Brutus, a sister Patti LaCrone (Ivan) of Toronto, KS, brothers Randall Weide (Debbie) of Rose, KS, Thomas Weide of Iola, KS, Walter Weide of Glencoe, OK, and many more relatives and friends.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Services will be held Saturday, February 21st at 11 AM at the Coyville Christian Church in Coyville, Kansas.
